Connection Day is a closed gathering held as part of the preparation for the Impulse Award. It brings together a small group of people who care about the meaning of the project, its process, and its future development. During the evening, we will share the current structure of the Award, what lies ahead, and how one can be involved — all in a focused, intimate setting.

    Connection Day is the first step of the project. At this stage, it is important for us not to “tell everyone,” but to have a calm, meaningful conversation with those who may become part of the process going forward. The closed format makes it possible to ask questions, hear one another, and truly understand how the project works — without rush or noise.
  • TRUST AND CLARITY
    The Impulse Award is being built as a community-led initiative.
    Projects like this begin with personal meetings and clear agreements, not loud announcements. A small circle makes it possible to create shared understanding and lay the foundation for further collaboration.

    We will share the current stage of the project and how it will develop going forward.
    We will explain the principles behind the nomination structure, how the jury is formed, and the formats in which one can take part in the project.

    MAIN PART: NETWORKING
    Time for open conversations and getting to know one another, discussions in small groups, and moving between different areas of the space. During the process, you can ask questions, clarify details, discuss ideas, and explore possible points of collaboration.
PARTNERS
Mamas in Biz is a community for mothers building their own businesses while balancing family life. Founded by Amy Carla Piumata, it offers support, connection, and collaboration in a warm, inspiring environment that encourages women to grow with confidence and without pressure or comparison.
ArtHost Barcelona is a creative space in the heart of Barcelona that brings together artists and creative professionals. Through events, workshops, and cultural gatherings, ArtHost fosters connection, collaboration, and community, using creativity as a way to create meaningful interactions.

WHAT IS IMPULSE AWARDS

Impulse Awards is an award for expat entrepreneurs and immigrants in Spain who build real businesses and work with the active market. An application can be submitted either by the project itself or by any satisfied client or partner who wishes to recognize high-quality work.
